Mission

First Tee - Greater Philadelphia's mission is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

Vision

Empowering young people of all privileges throughout Greater Philadelphia to build strength of character and achieve their full potential by utilizing the lifelong game of golf.

Goals

1.Our Caddie Academy, and Girls Caddie Academy, trains 50+ First Tee students each year to become golf caddies through classroom and hands-on instruction from staff and local caddie masters. Our goal is to maintain and grow this life-changing program so more kids can learn and succeed as caddies.
2.The First Tee - Greater Philadelphia Academic Scholarship was established in 2021 to support active participants in our chapter by providing financial assistance for high school education. In 2024 we awarded $47,500 to 15 deserving recipients, with a goal to grow this number each year.
3.Access 2 Golf makes golf accessible to youth from diverse backgrounds by addressing transportation barriers. We provide rides to and from our programs and nutritious lunches. In 2024, we partnered with 16 organizations, with a goal to grow that number each year so more kids across Greater Philadelphia can access our green grass locations.
