Bristol Riverside Theater Co Inc.
Mission
TO ENGAGE AUDIENCES AND ARTISTS ALIKE WITH EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMANCES, INSPIRED WRITING AND SUPERIOR PRODUCTIONS THAT MOTIVATE US TO THINK HARDER, TO FEEL MORE DEEPLY, TO LAUGH MORE FULLY AND TO REFLECT ON OURSELVES AND THE WORLD IN WHICH WE LIVE.
Vision
Our mission transforms not just individuals, but the entire community. By motivating us to think harder, feel more deeply, laugh more fully, and reflect on ourselves and the world around us, we are a cornerstone of cultural and educational excellence in Lower Bucks. BRT education programs inspire creativity, foster artistic growth, and break down barriers, nurturing the next generation and building a future where the arts are accessible to all, enriching the lives of people from all backgrounds. We support and celebrate community, bringing people together to explore our differences and celebrate our commonalities. We create a civil civic society where dialogue thrives. By strengthening our community economically, culturally, artistically, and educationally we make Bucks County a vibrant and enriching place. We aim to not only entertain but also to inspire and uplift, contributing to a stronger, more cohesive community where the arts are a vital and cherished part of everyday life.
Goals
- 1.Over 50% of Bristolians live below a survival budget. We want everyone in Bristol to be able to reap the benefits of the cultural institution at the center of their town. We offer $5 tickets for residents, tickets to “check out” at the library, free education programs, and more to increase access.
- 2.Bristol is thriving but benefits of BRT have not distributed equally. We want everyone in town to feel that they belong in their theatre. In a town this small, with a theatre this big, theatre-going should be a regular occurrence for everyone. We want everyone to feel represented on our stage, comfortable in our building, and a part of what we do.
- 3.We regularly engage with a wide variety of community partners and create programming in collaboration with community partner needs. Recent programming added in response to community demand includes: ArtRageous School Year, Amplifying Black Brilliance, and the William Penn Bank Summer Music Fest.
