Project HOME

Mission

The mission of the Project HOME (Housing, Opportunities for Employment, Medical Care, Education) community is to empower adults, children, and families to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, to alleviate the underlying causes of poverty, and to enable all of us to attain our fullest potential as individuals and as members of the broader society. We strive to create a safe and respectful environment where we support each other in our struggles for self-esteem, recovery, and the confidence to move toward self-actualization. Project HOME achieves its mission through a continuum of care comprised of street outreach, a range of supportive housing, and comprehensive services. Project HOME is committed to social and political advocacy.

1.Project HOME is working to increase and preserve housing units and expand access to end and prevent chronic street homelessness.
2.Project HOME completed a 5-year operations business plan and 15-year capital business plan in order to ensure financial resiliency and sustainability.
3.Project HOME continues working to become inclusive at all levels, an organization whose diverse staff feel they belong, grow professionally, and are empowered to succeed.
