Vision

We envision a world where every woman returning from prison is met with opportunity, compassion, and support—not judgment. At Why Not Prosper, we believe that with the right resources, every woman can rebuild her life, reunite with her family, and rise as a leader in her community. Our vision is a society where formerly incarcerated women are no longer marginalized but are empowered to thrive, break cycles of poverty and incarceration, and help heal the communities they call home.

Goals

1. 1.Support Successful Reentry and Reduce Recidivism: Provide holistic, trauma-informed services—including housing, employment support, and case management—to help formerly incarcerated women reintegrate into society and avoid returning to prison.
2. 2.Promote Economic Self-Sufficiency: Equip women with the tools, training, and opportunities they need to secure stable employment, increase their job skills, and achieve long-term financial independence.
3. 3.Advocate for Systemic Change and Empowerment: Amplify the voices of justice-involved women by engaging in policy advocacy, leadership development, and community education to dismantle barriers and transform systems of incarceration and inequality.
