To strengthen our communities by offering donors the means to establish charitable legacies, by making grants, and by providing leadership to address community needs in a manner that is responsible, responsive and lasting.

A prosperous, equitable, inclusive Hudson Valley with vibrant communities where all can live, work, and thrive.

Goals

1.Goal 1: Community-Led Impact Use resident input and data to identify emerging community needs and mobilize philanthropic resources to address them. Expand grantmaking, nonprofit capacity-building, impact investing, and cross-sector partnerships that respond the area's most pressing challenges and opportunities.
2.Goal 2: Philanthropic Growth and Engagement Increase charitable investment in the Hudson Valley by strengthening relationships with donors, fundholders, and professional advisors. Expand outreach, stewardship, and planned giving efforts; engage emerging philanthropists; and grow endowment resources to support long-term community priorities.
3.Goal 3: Organizational Effectiveness and Innovation Strengthen CFHV's capacity to serve the region through staff development, technology modernization, operational excellence, data-informed decision-making, and strong governance.
