Goal One: Goal 1: Healthy Organization: Ensure organizational capacity that supports and promotes viable and effective strategies
to achieve our mission. We will do this by: Development of Communication Plan, Fundraising Plan, Financial Policies, Board Recruitment Strategies to encourage diversity. We will recruit, train, and retain capable volunteers who can help advance the mission
Goal Two: Goal 2: Advocacy: Develop and sustain partnerships, strategies, and programs that inform and influence the public, community leaders, and policymakers. We do this by: Meeting with local, state & federal officials relevant to our mission; Research and alert members and broader community to issues threatening environment. Publish acclaimed newsletter 6 times a year.
Goal Three: Goal 3: Education: Educate and inspire people about the wonders, necessity, and vulnerability of wild places and waters. We do this with expert naturalist leading adults on walks/hikes. We offer outdoor youth education through new Explore and Restore program.
Goal 4: Stewardship: Conduct and support stewardship activities that protect, conserve, or restore wild places and waters.
