Virginia Council on Economic Education

Mission

VCEE provides high-quality professional development workshops, conferences, webinars, and institutes, along with classroom-ready instructional materials, to help K-12 educators effectively teach economics and personal finance. Through the generous support of our funding partners, these programs are offered at no cost to teachers and their schools, increasing access to high-quality educational opportunities across Virginia. In 2025, VCEE delivered professional development to 2,568 educators, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to engage students in meaningful learning about personal finance, economics, and workforce readiness. These educators reached more than 182,838 students statewide.
