Humane Society of Imperial County

Mission

To enhance the relationship between people and animals within our community by placing homeless pets into loving homes, offering affordable resources, and through humane education.

Vision

The Humane Society of Imperial County envisions a compassionate community where every pet has a loving home, needless euthanasia of healthy and adoptable animals is eliminated, and pet homelessness is a thing of the past. Together, we strive for a future filled with hope and humane care for all.

Goals

1.The goal of a low-cost community veterinary clinic is to provide affordable care, helping pet owners keep their animals healthy and at home. By making essential services accessible, the clinic aims to prevent needless euthanasia and reduce pet homelessness, ensuring every pet receives the care they deserve.
2.The goal of obtaining a new facility is to expand access to our current programs and services, allowing us to reach more pets and families in need. A larger, improved space will enhance our capacity to deliver care, support, and resources, ultimately strengthening our impact on the community.
3.Our goal is to further invest in our organization’s financial stability by diversifying funding sources, pursuing grants, building donor relationships, and hosting community fundraising events. These efforts ensure steady resources, support our mission, and enable us to continue providing vital services to pets and families.
