Hiway 80 Rescue Mission

Mission

Founded in 1955, Hiway 80 Rescue Mission Ministries has been reaching out and touching lives for nearly 70 years. Hiway 80 Rescue Mission exists to glorify God by providing a safe and supportive environment where homeless and hurting men, women and children can experience life transformation through Christ.

Vision

We desire to be the organization in East Texas where homeless and hurting men, women and children can experience life transformation. Both physically and spiritually.

Goals

1.We need to improve facilities and increase capacity in both Longview (new, larger facility for women and children) and in Tyler. (overnight emergency shelter)
2.We need to redevelop and relaunch an addiction recovery program for the women we serve.
3.We need to expand our ministry to other cities in East Texas. Marshall, TX is a nearby community that could benefit greatly from our services.
