Mission
The Jewish Community Center of Middlesex County (JCC) exists for the purpose of “Tikkun Olam” – “Repair of the World” -- dedicated to encouraging/promoting harmony, mutual respect and understanding throughout the community by providing programs, services and facilities to all, regardless of religion, race, national origin, gender, age, disability, gender identity or marital status. Our diversity is our strength. Everyone is welcome at the JCC. The JCC is guided by Jewish values, affirming the historical significance of Israel in contemporary Judaism, and is committed to fostering appreciation and understanding of our heritage and identity.
Vision
For 40 years, the JCC of Middlesex County has served the community, providing cutting edge programs for adults of all ages, children and families and those in need. The JCC continues to grow, adapt and meet the changing needs and interests of our members and the greater community of participants seeking enrichment and social stimulation, health and wellness, education, culture and the arts, along with expanded programs for those seeking a warm, nurturing and safe environment for their children, families and for all those who come through our doors. The JCC has done all of this and more with the leadership and support of hundreds of volunteers, lay leaders and supporters. It is this leadership and support that continues to move the JCC forward and that now commits the JCC to its next era of development and to expanding and enhancing the programs, services and facilities which are vital to the JCC’s ability to continue to serve our members and the greater community.
Goals
- 1.New program initiative addressing those with Autism Spectrum Disorder, their caregivers and families, including provision of services and resources in a Community Center setting.
- 2.Construction of 21,000 square foot, 2-story expansion and renovation project, addresses the future ability to provide important programs, to the community of those with disabilities.
- 3.Development of this new model Disabilities Special Services program, will be a Model for comprehensive Disabilities Special Services programs and resources in communal settings.
