Mission

Better ATX transforms the lives of children and adults through philanthropic programs. Better ATX supports children, teens, and adults across the greater Austin area through a range of targeted programs. We serve Austin-area students and schools, underserved individuals and families, Austin Community College students and patients at Dell Children’s Medical Centers—providing resources, encouragement, and opportunities for a brighter future. Better ATX is dedicated to providing services that address specific, basic needs of children and adults in the community of Austin and Travis County Texas, significantly improving the quality of their lives. Our programs include: Better ATX Assault Survivors; Better ATX Clothes For Kids, providing school essentials to school children; Better ATX Scholars for students attending Austin Community College; Better ATX Toy Cart, gives toys and books to children at Dell Children's Medical Center; Better ATX School Communities, provides teachers with instructional materials; and Better ATX Families, providing one-time services to families in need.
