Vision

For over 50 years, the AGD Foundation has been dedicated to raising awareness of oral and oropharyngeal cancer, educating the public on risk factors, and providing diagnostic training for general dentists. AGDF believes that through free oral cancer screenings, continuing education, and other awareness efforts, we can help combat the spread of Oral Cancer.

Goals

1. 1.Expand the reach of the Foundation by partnering with organizations and AGD constituents to enhance our outreach efforts. - Create materials that highlight the Foundation’s focus on Oral and oropharyngeal cancer awareness. - Promote oral cancer toolkit to dentists and physicians, public health venues and institutions, educational institutions, etc. - Increase outreach to early career dentists
2. 2.Create a sound financial infrastructure through effective fundraising efforts - Expand the Foundation’s list of potential corporate donors that connect with our mission - Increase engagement and cultivate relationships with existing donor base - Increase grant writing efforts and submit applications to relevant organizations that connect with our mission
