At the Upper Valley Humane Society, we envision a community in which all pets are loved. We work toward this by carrying out our three-part mission: 1. Provide a compassionate, innovative animal shelter and companion animal resource center. 2. Enhance quality of life for animals through services that reduce suffering, support wellness, and foster compassion. 3. Promote the wellbeing of our employees and their development as animal welfare professionals

2.To be an employer of choice by 1) formalizing our HR program, 2) providing a competitive total compensation package, and 3) emphasizing staff and volunteer well-being and development as leaders.
3.To provide our community with a modern animal organization by 1) developing a campus master plan, 2) providing state-of-the-art animal housing and care, and 3) improving environmental stewardship.
