Mission

Founded in 1973, Lambda Legal is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender, queer/questioning (LGBTQ) people and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work. Lambda Legal's work changes laws, policies and ideas. Until we achieve full equality under the law in every state in this country, we will keep fighting and moving history forward.
