The mission of the Guild is to support the sustainability and prosperity of the craft baking industry through education, training and community building.

Vision

We envision a world in which craft bakeries, and working bakers, can thrive.

Goals

1.In 2024, we launched The Bakery Leadership Circle--a program to support small business owners and operators in the baking industry to build leadership skills and address adaptive business challenges.
2.We are developing Spanish-language education in baking techniques and in the business of baking to make our programs accessible to many predominantly Spanish-speaking workers of bakeries in the US.
3.We offer programming on the business of baking to support the needs of our members in not only making great baked goods, but in running strong businesses.
