Vision

Our firefighters provide an all-hazards response to calls for assistance in Rostraver Township and surrounding communities. The organization places an emphasis on preventing emergencies before they occur via Community Risk Reduction. These efforts include fire & life safety education, and targeted risk reduction activities. As part of community outreach, personnel participate in community events and deliver educational content.

Goals

1. 1.Our strategies for risk reduction include life safety education, targeted programs including smoke detector distribution and home key box installation, and outreach to at-risk communities.
2. 2.To keep our department at a ready-state for response, we key on continuing education and preparedness, accredited certification, and compliance with national standards.
