Mission

Special Spirit is an all-inclusive animal paradise that encompasses the spiritual bond between animals and humans. Through adaptive horseback riding, Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) and ground-based farming activities, we strive to be a meaningful destination for the entire community. We follow PATH and EAGALA standards to provide comprehensive care in Equine Assisted Services (EAS). Each individual youth is assessed and evaluated for their unique needs, goals and desires.

Vision

Special Spirit's vision is to make animal and equine therapeutic activities accessible to all.

Goals

1.Develop educational programs, addressing our clients need for more social activities. Not all clients can be around animals, by including programs such as drumming, singing, art/craft we can expand.
2.Network and work with other organizations and develop partnership will increase our community outreach, this will positively impact our community at large.
3.Helping our community address the need for after school programs for many of our underserved youth. Offer after school programs at low or no cost to benefit our community and grow relationships.
