Vision

EDWINS is changing the face of reentry by transforming the lives of justice-affected individuals through career education and wraparound support that leads to family-sustaining careers. Our model is altering the perceptions of returning citizens across the world.

Goals

1. 1.Our primary goal at EDWINS is to prevent people from returning to prison. and maintain our 1.4% recidivism rate through this fiscal year for program graduates. Our rationale is two-fold. First, we want to ensure that returning citizens have access to careers that allow their families to have a high quality of life. Secondly, our program costs are minimal compared to the costs to incarcerate.
2. 2.Through tablets, EDWINS offers a curriculum to over 100,000 incarcerated individuals, mirroring the coursework from our program in Cleveland. With over 300 participants completing the program daily, we want to connect 6500 this year to the resources they need for a successful reentry and career opportunities through our National Reentry Office.
3. 3.EDWINS aims to invest in its wraparound support over the next fiscal year including our housing, childcare and case management services. We want to be certain that 100% of our students that need housing or childcare have access to remove any barriers to their success.
