TRANSITIONAL SHELTERS AND SUPPORT TO VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ELDER ABUSE AND NEGLECT, COUNSELING AND COMPREHENSIVE CASE MANAGMENT IN CULTURALLY AND LINGUISTICALLY SPECIFIC SERVICES.

Vision

Goals

1.Support domestic violence survivors’ healthy reintegration into the community. We will do this by providing culturally sensitive, comprehensive services to survivors including mental health care, case management, legal advocacy, emergency rental assistance, and other educational workshops that support life skills development.
2.Provide safe housing through our Emergency and Transitional Living Shelters, with extended stays of 6 to 12 months that support survivors' transition to independent living. We plan to expand our shelter services and the number of survivors we can support by opening a new home in the next year.
3.Through our Community Resource and Immigration Program we will continue to offer public benefits application assistance and citizenship application assistance to qualified clients. Our culturally sensitive program offers vital support to community members to apply for CalFresh (food stamps), Medi-Cal (healthcare), General Relief, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and other assistance programs.
