Merrohawke Nature School Inc.

Mission

The Organization is committed to guiding learning in nature that inspires empathy, resilience, grit and a deep connection to the earth. From October 1 2023 to September 30, 2024, Merrohawke staff provided 35,711 hours of outdoor education to 650 youth on land and at sea.

Vision

Strong kids. Health planet.

Goals

1.Our primary focus is the children before us, and we work every day to provide high quality learning in nature, in all seasons.
2.We actively fundraise to grow our financial aid fund. Since our founding year in 2007, no youth who wished to attend but lacked the resources to do so has been turned away, thanks to the charitable supporters of Merrohawke.
3.We are working on a master plan to convert the historic farmstead where we are located into an educational facility that enhances student learning and experience.
