Crayons to Classrooms

Mission

Crayons to Classrooms (C2C) secures and distributes school supplies at no cost to teachers of students in need. C2C is a Teacher Resource Center for teachers from under-resourced preK-12 schools that serve students where 60% or more are participating in the National School Lunch program. In partnership with local businesses, individual donors, and community volunteers, C2C lifts at-risk student's level and love of learning by collecting and distributing donated supplies and surplus products for use in the classroom. C2C's service area encompasses Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, and north Warren counties.

Goals

1.Expand outreach to serve all eligible schools and teachers serving kids in need in schools with 60% of students on free or reduced lunches (poverty level) in seven counties and diversify our distribution model to serve rural areas.
2.Ensure the stability of our product supply for teachers and students through the “Kids In Need Foundation”, supply drives, and local procurement of product donors.
3.Build an efficient and sustainable fundraising model through grassroots individual giving, foundation support, service clubs, community organization partnerships, and major sponsors.
