Mission

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) is committed to providing hope, help, and a reason to smile to New England Cancer patients and their families by contributing assistance when it is needed most. JAF provides assistance for general household expenses, food, transportation, extraordinary needs, and wellness to help patients adhere to treatment plans, which helps improve health outcomes.

Vision

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation will continue to help alleviate financial barriers to help cancer patients access their medical care and treatment plans, which will help to improve health outcomes.

Goals

1.Work to help alleviate financial barriers that prevent patients from starting or completing life-saving treatment. Assistance will be provided through navigation services, and 5 distinct programs.
2.Develop a strategic plan to prioritize growth with a robust financial model; boost capacity to recruit and develop diverse talent; and create, test, and evaluate a new model(s) of program delivery.
3.Expand JAF’s Universal Community Oncology Resource Network UniCORN, a new comprehensive, free online directory of nationwide support resources aggregated by JAF and accessible in several languages.
