Mission

To research and develop healthy climate solutions comprising global food security, ecosystem regeneration and carbon balance in seas and soils.

Our vision is to restore natural upwelling in the [sub]tropical oceans, regenerate >3000km2 of kelp

1.Our first goal is to restore and regenerate food security for 1 billion people who depend on marine food webs, in the form of regenerated seaweed production, fish habitat and forage fisheries.
2.Our second goal is to regenerate ecosystem services offshore, including kelp forest fish habitat, coral bleaching upwelling preventing and reversing coral bleaching, and restored tropical fish habitat
3.Our third goal is to measure the carbon export from the 20%+ of seaweed that falls off the platform during growth, sinks 1000m/day+ and whose carbon remains in the abyss for centuries in deep water.
