Mission

Chesapeake Conservancy's mission is to conserve and restore the natural and cultural resources of the Chesapeake Bay watershed for the enjoyment, education, and inspiration of this and future generations.<br><br>We serve as a catalyst for change, advancing strong public and private partnerships, developing and using new technology, and empowering environmental stewardship.

Goals

1.Develop high-quality data and rigorous analyses to successfully enact evidence-based conservation policy and action within the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
2.Develop organizational agility to become an employer of choice and a premier conservation non-profit, develop scalable conservation finance, policy and projects to conserve and restore critical lands.
3.Organize partners at local, state, and regional levels to connect them with natural and cultural resources of the Chesapeake Bay watershed and inspire the next generation of watershed stewards.
