RepresentUs works to protect our democracy and create a government of, by, and for the people. So, on January 6, 2021 we were outraged by the deadly attack on the Capitol by extremists spreading lies about the 2020 election results and distrust in our election system.
In response, we launched an Election Protection pilot program in states like Wisconsin and Pennsylvania where we mobilized volunteers to spread awareness about the threats to our elections, support election workers and clerks who were receiving death threats for doing their jobs, and sign up to become poll workers.
