Mission

At Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference, our mission is to inspire and empower youth in leadership and service. We do this by giving youth a platform to make their voices heard on issues affecting our community and provide them the opportunity to take action in their own way. Our primary objective is to enable youth to make a difference in their communities and offer meaningful community service projects combined with instruction and reflection, school-based clubs, and diverse leadership opportunities. Youth are able to decide their own level of involvement.

Vision

Goals

1.Grow and expand Hands4Hope’s West Slope programs by launching youth-driven service-learning leadership and service in South Lake Tahoe through school and community partnerships. Identify and train youth leaders in, launch community outreach, and establish Hands4Hope Clubs at South Tahoe Middle and High School.
2.Invest in Hands4Hope’s organizational capacity by strengthening policies, systems, staffing, and financial infrastructure. Improve onboarding, leadership succession, and role clarity; institutionalize duplicatable processes; expand development capacity; and align financial planning with strategic priorities to ensure sustainability and readiness for growth.
3.trengthen Hands4Hope’s advocacy by elevating youth voice, expanding awareness of youth-driven service, and deepening community and school partnerships. Share our impact, grow visibility and support for youth leadership, and champion service-learning as a powerful tool for developing civic-minded, socially responsible change-makers.
