One Day’s Wages exists to alleviate extreme poverty by investing in, amplifying, and coming alongside locally led organizations in underserved communities.

Vision

One Day's Wages is a global grassroots movement where our collective efforts build a more just and beautiful world.

Goals

1.From 2009-2023, ODW approved 320 grants, mobilizing $11.4M for poverty alleviation, with $5.6M contributed directly by ODW. 95% were 1-year grants; 5% were multi-year. Our new goal is to increase multi-year grants from 5% to 75% to build trust, ease partners' burdens, and track long-term impact. One-year grants will remain for new partnerships and emergency responses.
2.Increase the percentage of ODW’s partnerships with locally founded and locally led organizations from 14% to 80%
3.Develop a community of practice that centers indigenous knowledge, and serves as a platform for Global South partners to share their expertise with one another.
