Vision

WILK’s vision is to develop and enhance a thriving ecosystem in Kenya, integrating its unique collection of ethnicities, nature, and wildlife riches.

Goals

1. 1.Water is Life Kenya began because bringing clean water to Kenya communities changes lives for the better. Women can provide and care for their families with a nearby water source, girls can go to school, and people are in better health overall. Working on the ground also showed us people had other needs, so over the last 19 years (including 2025) we've added programs to address those needs.
2. 2.We have over 35 water projects, but over time we've added income-generating programs to keep them running. Livestock as a Business focuses on Maasai livestock-keeping, Hope for Widows gives marginalized women business skills, and the Youth Entrepreneurship Program helps young people capitalize on their interests. We can help even more people participate in these programs with increased funding.
3. 3.Our work takes us to some of the poorest Kenyan communities. The Kenyan government and other organizations break promises to these people, so we step up to help them build resiliency and hope in an inhospitable landscape plagued by climate change. By working directly with communities, we learn their needs and create programs that align with their customs and beliefs.
