Vision

Idaho Freedom Foundation's vision is an Idaho elevated as a beacon of freedom, leading the nation in protecting individual liberty, ensuring accountable government, advancing free markets, and preserving opportunity for future generations.

Goals

1. 1.Local Government Freedom Index - Local decisions often have the most immediate effect on citizens but receive far less scrutiny than state or federal policy. Zoning rules, property tax decisions, local spending, school district policies, business regulations, and land-use restrictions can either expand government power or protect freedom.
2. 2.Judicial Accountability Index – Idaho voters often encounter judicial races with little meaningful information about candidates or the philosophies shaping their decisions. Because campaigns are often low visibility and judicial language is technical, citizens may vote without understanding a judge’s record, approach to constitutional interpretation, or commitment to the proper role of the courts.
3. 3.Liberty Louie Education Outreach – This program will introduce young Idahoans to civics, economics, history, and the principles of a free society through engaging, age-appropriate content. Liberty Louie, a fictional falcon, will guide students through stories, facts, puzzles, games, historical features, and activities.
