Sahar Education

Mission

Sahar partners with grassroots, locally-based organizations to create educational opportunities and safe learning spaces for girls and women in Afghanistan, empowering and inspiring children and their families to build peaceful, thriving communities.

Vision

An Afghanistan where women and girls are empowered to lead healthy, intentional lives.

Goals

1.Develop our existing programs to serve more students each year while providing 12-month programs with lasting impact on the students and their communities.
2.Develop app-based classes to bring Sahar's women's empowerment, health, and computer skills training to women in rural and other communities who cannot join in-person underground courses.
3.Partner with a new organization to deliver a Midwifery course to young women in rural provinces.
