Lilys Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary

Mission

We provide 24/7/365 care in a safe and loving rural environment for senior large breed dogs - 7 years and older and 50 pounds or heavier - who have been displaced from their homes or abandoned for any reason. Our dogs come from both shelters and owner surrenders throughout California. Our mission is to ensure that each of our senior dogs will live out the rest of his/her life as a well-loved family companion in an adoptive home, a foster or hospice home, or here at the Sanctuary.

Goals

1.o Expanding the number of fosters that we work with so more dogs can be rescued and eventually placed in a permanent home that is the best match for both the dog and the adopter.
2.o Continue to work collaboratively with shelters and rescues across California who place their trust in us to provide high quality care to the dogs that come to Lily’s and to support the community members who foster & adopt them.
3.Expand training and leadership opportunities for our staff.
