Vision

The Vision of Our Community LA is a world where no one is hungry, unhoused, or unable to access supportive services during times of need.

Goals

1. 1.Empower vulnerable individuals and families to connect to supportive services available in LA County, streamlining access to basic needs - like food, shelter and healthcare - and enabling them to build successful lives that are not defined by homelessness or resource insecurity.
2. 2.Improve social equity by breaking information barriers that keep people in need from finding support, and respecting the privacy of individuals served so that they can maintain their dignity
3. 3.Train and engage those with lived experience of homelessness or resource insecurity as staff/volunteers while providing information to nonprofits, service providers, and citizens to help them better respond to the needs of struggling populations.
