Vision

Public education will always be a nationwide community issue at the forefront of every city’s agenda, not just Dallas. WWHSCF is focused on solving the pervasive, inherent issues that result from the lack of funds and resources needed to ensure Dallas’ public schools are top-notch and provide quality, free education for Dallas residents. WWHSCF has focused on creating an equitable learning environment for all students and staff, developing collaborative partnerships with families and stakeholders that represent our diverse community. The organization works to eliminate inequities through student empowerment and district support via its annual scholarship program and teacher grant program. This financial support has helped remove barriers and provided pathways for students to pursue higher education and achieve their academic goals.

Goals

1. 1.The Woodrow Wilson High School Foundation Feeder Teacher Impact Fund is our annual teacher grant program that was crafted in collaboration with the Communities Foundation of Texas.
2. 2.The Foundation’s annual scholarship program has been in existence since 2010.
3. 3.Historically managed by volunteer leaders, the Foundation is actively working to build capacity for full time staff.
