What are this organization’s external mobilizaton efforts?
We’ve partnered with USAID, The World Bank, The TED Audacious Project, UNHCR, UNICEF, NBACares, FCDO, The EU, Google.org, the Ikea Foundation, and many others. Through these partnerships and advisory relationships GiveDirectly spreads knowledge on delivering cash transfers efficiently, in the right contexts, and at the right times.
We’ve run 19 randomized controlled trials on our programs with researchers at IDInsight, Innovations for Poverty Action, UCSD, UC Berkeley, MIT, Duke, Oxford, Princeton, University of Warwick, UChicago, Harvard, UCSC, Tufts, Indian School of Business, University of Michigan. These studies help to further the body of evidence around use cases for UCTs and offer insights on delivery strategies and 2nd-order effects.
We participate in conferences like SXSW, EA Global, DevCon, Guaranteed Income Now and Basic Income Guarantee, as well as speaking with student and professional groups to share learnings from our programs and improve cross-sector collaboration.
