Hope the Mission's vision is that no one goes without... • Hope - A message of love, support and freedom for a better tomorrow. • Hot Meals – Food distribution to the hungry. • Health Services – Resources for basic human needs. • Healing – Proven programs that lead to wholeness and self-sufficiency. • Housing – Transitional shelter for the situational and chronically homeless.

Goals

1. 1.Aged-out foster youth ages 18–24 in LA County are 45% more likely to experience homelessness than the general population, according to LA County Department of Mental Health. As the Transitional Aged Youth (TAY) population grows, limited affordable housing and resources strain support systems. Hope the Mission is opening a new TAY Center this year to provide housing support and critical services.
2. 2.Hope the Mission increased access to our daily allotment of prepared meals for the homeless. We expanded by 1,200 meals per day from 6,600 to 7,800. That’s over 8,000 more meals every week for a total of over 50,000 meals every week for the hungry and homeless. This service will also open doors for those we are serving to other rehabilitation programs that we offer.
3. 3.We recently added three new leaders in management to help guide and build our organization. These additions were a new Vice President of Mission and Impact, a new Vice President for Business Affairs, and a new Director of Human Resources. These leaders have greatly strengthened our vision and capacity for the future.
