Mission

The Vertile Foundation supports children in need in Haiti through two programs: (1) a children’s home that provides housing, food, education, medical care and counseling for orphaned and abandoned children, and (2) a school that serves 150+ students ages 6 and up. Haiti is the poorest and most violent country in the western hemisphere. Crippling poverty, unmitigated gang violence, a series of earthquakes and hurricanes, a presidential assassination that has left a power vacuum with no elections since 2016; these have all combined to create the perfect storm that has left Haiti in complete crisis.
