Central Oregon Locavore Non Profit

Mission

Central Oregon Locavore's mission is to improve the access to fresh, in season, nutrient-dense, local food, and educate the community about the benefits of sustainably produced food from local farmers and ranchers. Central Oregon Locavore promotes a more ecologically and socially just food system that supports greater community wellness, public health, and the local economy.

Vision

Locavore supports local food and local farmers for the health and benefit of the individual, our community, society, and the planet. We envision a robust and diverse local food economy, connecting consumers and producers, utilizing fair and sustainable practices, and cultivating food security for the health and enjoyment of our community.

We have launched a fundraising campaign that will allow us to open the second location by fall 2026.
