Rose Garden Center for Hope and Healing

Mission

We provide at no charge the best healthcare possible to everyone who asks, without regard to race, age, sex, religion, or employment status, with compassion and respect for their human dignity, under the auspices of the Rose Garden Mission of the Franciscan Daughters of Mary, relying entirely on donations and volunteers.

Vision

All who seek aid will receive free, one-on-one, compassionate, professional healthcare, supported entirely by volunteers and benefactors.

Goals

1.Expand volunteer staff by recruiting more professionals. (A) DMDs, assistants, and hygienists to meet year-round need for fillings, extractions, cleanings. (B) A new Certified Diabetic Educator for the 30% of medical patients who have diabetes. (C) Off-site specialists to accept our referrals as charity care or bill us a reduced rate.
2.We will perform at professional levels, meet regionally recognized needs, and satisfy our supporters by third-party recognition. (A) Qualify for annual renewal of state license as an ambulatory primary care clinic. (B) Accept referrals from regional social support groups. (C) Retain high performance ranking from National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics. (D) Win new grant support.
3.Leadership regularly reviews policies and procedures, solicits staff feedback, oversees documentation of best practices, and verifies quality assurance compliance. Executive and Board weigh available funds against ongoing program costs, given our total reliance on donations and grants.
