AmpleHarvest.org "heavy lift" is reaching and engaging America's 62 million home/community gardeners to enable them to donate their surplus harvest to local food pantries. We have partnered with Bonnie Plants, the leader in the seedling space, The Home Depot, a huge player in the garden supply space as well as the USDA Master Gardener program as part of this effort. Our executive director presents keynotes at conferences, participates in panel discussions and engages with the media as part of this outreach. Lastly, our social media focus continues these efforts towards reaching an ever larger number of gardening and food pantry constituents.

The nonprofit has an opportunity to tell the story of how the organization adapted to tremendous external changes in the last year.
AmpleHarvest.org took advantage of the increased donations to totally overhaul our infrastructure. Our web site, the heart of our work, was totally overhauled replacing one from 2009 to include many new capabilities and more importantly, support an ever increasing mobile world. Our CRM and other internal operations were also totally overhauled. We came out of 2021 as a very experienced organization with entirely new and up to date supporting platforms.
