1.FWGBD’s new Foundations Program is a self-paced curriculum for healthcare professionals pursuing additional training in the hematologic & reproductive health management of women & girls with blood disorders. It seeks to increase the number of professionals with knowledge, connect professionals with blood disorder experts at WGBD designated clinics, & build peer networks for ongoing support.
2.FWGBD seeks to expand its membership of WGBD Clinics of Excellence throughout the nation. Currently there are over 60 designated WGBD clicks of excellence across the US which offer both hematology and women's reproductive health specialists at the same time within the same visit.
3.FWGBD will engage with its web development firm to update fwgbd.org, a key element in our communication and education strategy, to take advantage of newer technology to improve efficiency for visitors/members & staff. Specifically, some areas to be addressed include, overall design, enhanced document- and information-sharing among healthcare professionals, usability and accessibility.
