Mission

FairShare's mission is to build resilient food communities by investing in farmers and empowering eaters.

We envision thriving farms, vibrant communities, and fresh food for all!

1.Our core program areas include providing support in finding local, organic CSA farms; educational workshops, support, resources and apprenticeships for farmers focusing on production techniques, labor issues and sales & marketing support; and cost assistance for low-income households to purchase CSA shares through our Partner Shares Program.
2.Food prices are rising and small-scale farming is becoming increasingly more challenging due to changing climate & uncertain market conditions. Our food access programming provides financial support to connect limited income households to local farms, supporting both access to fresh, nutritious produce and the farmers who grow it.
