THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED AND WILL BE OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE, INCLUDING: FOSTERING AND PROMOTING THE HIGHEST QUALITY INVESTIGATIVE AND PUBLIC SERVICE JOURNALISM AS WELL AS PROVIDING EDUCATION AND BUSINESS SUPPORT SERVICES TO OUR NONPROFIT NEWS MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS.

1.Build Journalism Impact & Reach: At a time of rapid change in how people find and access news, INN helps newsrooms increase the civic and social impact of their reporting.
2.Grow a Thriving & Sustainable Nonprofit News Field INN provides essential capacity-building programs and shared services for nonprofit newsrooms to endure as trusted resources for their communities
3.Scale Collective Action within the INN Network With over 400 newsrooms employing over 4,000 journalists, INN is elevating its editorial and revenue generation collaborative efforts.
