Goals

1. 1.The unprecedented number of dogs in shelters has required us to expand and grow so we can rescue, care and find homes for more pugs and pug mixes. We build relationships with local veterinarians to provide the best treatments for sick pugs, develop partnerships locally and nationally to bring awareness to our mission, and cultivate relationships with partner rescues to broaden our placement reach.
2. 2.Our ability to find dogs a home is the foundation of our success. We found that scaling back adoption fairs and increasing individual adoption appointments gets our dogs adopted into safe homes faster. Additionally, we adjusted our core fundraising events to include an open house so people can tour our facility and spend time with the dogs there.
3. 3.We invest in our organization by developing new fundraising opportunities, researching grant applications, and increasing our workforce. Through these efforts this year, we were able to add space to our facility where we separate and treat sick dogs in our care to better prevent the spread of disease.
