Mission
Pars Equality Center’s mission is to catalyze social, civic, and economic integration of immigrants from Persian-speaking and other underrepresented communities into American society.
Vision
e vision of Pars Equality Center (PARS) is to create an inclusive and equitable society where immigrants—especially Persian-speaking communities—can fully participate in civic, social, and economic life in the United States. Key Elements of the Vision Empowered immigrant communities that are informed, self-reliant, and active members of American society. Equal access to opportunity, including legal protection, education, employment, and social services. Successful integration of immigrants from Persian-speaking and other underserved communities into civic, social, and economic life. A supportive community network where culture, language, and identity are respected while people build stable lives in the U.S. A society where immigrants understand their rights and responsibilities and can contribute fully to democracy and the economy.
Goals
- 1.Empower Immigrant Communities Through Critical Services Provide culturally and linguistically appropriate legal, social, educational, and economic services that enable immigrants and refugees—especially Persian-speaking communities—to stabilize their lives and exercise their rights.
- 2.Strengthen the ability of immigrants and refugees to fully participate in American civic, economic, and community life. Key focus areas English language and citizenship education Workforce development and job readiness programs Small business support and financial literacy Community engagement and civic participation initiatives
- 3.Strengthen Pars Equality Center as a trusted, sustainable, and scalable nonprofit institution serving immigrant communities across California.
