Mission

Our Children's Trust protects Earth's atmosphere and natural systems for present and future generations by elevating the voice of youth in legal actions, public engagement, and in the media to secure the legal right to a safe climate system.

Vision

Our work will be achieved when there is universal recognition of children’s climate rights by courts around the world and children’s fundamental rights to life on this planet are protected.

Goals

1.Win court ordered final judgments of youths’ fundamental constitutional rights to a safe climate system in accordance with the best available science.
2.Inform the public, judiciary, and decisionmakers about the constitutional right and scientific mandate to protect the climate system for children and future generations.
3.Be leaders/models with youth to build resiliency for the long haul of transformational social justice work in a climate trauma space.
