Mission

The Santa Barbara Arts Collaborative (SBAC) is an inclusive group of artists and arts supporters committed to sustaining and growing all forms of the arts in Santa Barbara. SBAC welcomes all to participate in the focused support of individual artists and arts organizations that contribute to the unique cultural ecology of our community

Vision

We envision a culturally-rich Santa Barbara where all artists have the support they need to thrive, where diverse voices are heard, and where the arts are integral to community life, civic engagement, and economic vitality.

Goals

1.Hire additional staff to manage increasing CAW uses
2.Continue capital improvements (basic theatrical lighting system for music and performing arts, professional gallery lighting in Shed and Community Room, additional storage, improved audience seating, and a merchandise case)
3.Increase the number of performing arts uses of the CAW by 30% by 2026, through a new lighting system, Opening Doors fund, and community outreach.
