All staff and board members are invited to participate in the Leadership of non profit leadership program provided by the George foundation. Our Operations manager and Event director completed the 1 year course in April. New staff will be attending this upcoming year. We have in our budget funds designated for development and leadership courses in case any staff member would like to participate in something that will help them develop their skill set.

We partner with local sherriffs office to provide guidance and training on how to approach a person with autism in a police traffic stop. We also attend events and information fares to provide more awareness to the public on autism and our cause.

As time passes we have come to realize that what once was our mission. To serve once child, one family.. no longer applies to our organization. As our families transition out of toddler ages, we as an organization know the help and need does not stop there. Our children grow and need help in the adult years to find their footing. This year we completed our strategic planning and changed our mission to walk along and support families on their autism journeys. To provide assistance at any age and need, is our goal.
