Vision

At Anchor Point we give families hope and help through our family network of services by offering pregnancy care, mentoring, mental health support through trauma recovery, sexual abuse recovery and more. Anchor Point also provides parenting education, crisis intervention, material and resources assistance, a maternity home, a trauma informed family camp and Adoption education services.

Goals

1. 1.Hope Family Center provides families with support services, including material aid, counseling, medical referrals, and government assistance through the 8-week "Life on Life" curriculum. As we welcome new clients, demand for staff hours rises, requiring more resources to meet their needs. Our goal is to strengthen our staff and resources to enhance our impact in the greater Houston area.
2. 2.In late 2024, Anchor Point hired a business administrator with an accounting background to enhance our existing systems and identify efficiencies in our accounting and business practices. We also aim to conduct an external audit in the near future, which will facilitate our applications for larger foundation grants.
3. 3.In 2023, Hope Community was established to support families tailored to local needs. As our world changes, so must our programs. Adaptive Hope Community aims to provide educational assistance through trauma informed therapeutic summer camps, parenting classes, support groups, mentorships, and training for expectant fathers and fathers of young children.
