We hired a consultant with experience in leadership development as well as administrative support to help with key daily tasks and KPI measurement.

Raise awareness of mission and cause through marketing activities, social media, etc. Our mission is described and fundraising goals shared across Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Tiktok. Participate in networks or collective impact efforts to develop shared goals across multiple organizations. Maya's Hope consists of a network of volunteers, fieldworkers and medical professionals. Community building, training and/or organizing takes place in-country through our fieldworkers, for example organizing COVID-19 strategies for our Education program in the Philippines.

We operate a virtual and distributed volunteer workforce across different countries and time zones. We are constantly recruiting and adding to the workforce. We have increased the number of translators on our team and interview applicants through a committee panel. Each applicant is thoroughly vetted through an application process before aid in is provided. We pay hospitals directly for the cost of surgery to allow children to receive life-giving surgery where it is not covered elsewhere and without which the child would not survive or thrive, as well as shipping medicines and nutritional support to families, children and orphanages.
