TO LESSEN THE BURDENS OF GOVERNMENT BY PERFORMING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT SERVICES FOR KENT COUNTY, FOR THE CITY OF GRAND RAPIDS, AND FOR TOWNSHIPS AND OTHER LOCAL UNITS OF GOVERNMENT IN AND AROUND KENT COUNTY, MICHIGAN, THAT WOULD OTHERWISE PROVIDE SUCH SERVICES THEMSELVES; AND TO SOLICIT, RECEIVE AND ADMINISTER FUNDS EXCLUSIVELY FOR SUCH CHARITABLE PURPOSES.
